Some would say
its fun to play
when the cats away
but I would stay
for a chance to play
or to roll in the hay
almost any day
with the cat.

I need you more than you need me
This is folly all can understand

I sometimes see you in my dreams
I need you all the time it feels like

Ive written letters Ive not sent
Tell me what they really are

If I dont send them are they real
if there lines hold what I care about

Does that make me a broken man
Or is that a part of the way it goes

Tell me if these things are really clues
Or dusty history like worn out books

I need to know if your hearts there
to get these thoughts out of my mind

If you dont love me then I'll leave
I'll somehow coax my lungs to work

I'll never forget that your were mine
I'll never heal or ever be ok

And I'll think of you throughtout the years
with tender feeling and tender rememberences.
